DIRECTOR

Giorgi is a Director, Editor, and Cinematographer based in both Tbilisi and New York. After studying Business and Economics at Tbilisi State University, he relocated to New York in 2015 to embark on a career in filmmaking. Notably, he directed a four-part documentary series titled EUROPE AND ME for the European Union in Georgia. ON THE WAY HOME stands as his debut feature documentary.

CINEMATOGRAPHER

Josh is an Emmy-nominated Cinematographer based in New York City. He has 10+ years of experience working on documentaries and commercials, most notably the Oscar-winning documentary ICARUS, and BAFTA-nominated THE DISSIDENT. He has also worked for such clients as HBO, ESPN, BMW, NBC, Fox Sports, NFL Films, WWE, MLB, BET, PBS, Marc Jacobs and Great Big Story.

EDITOR & PRODUCER

Charlotte is an Editor who has spent her career working on various commercials and branded content documentaries. She studied Film and Television at the Savannah College of Art and Design before moving to New York where she spent several years editing long form sponsored documentaries at CNN’s award-winning branded content studio, Courageous. She currently works independently and splits her time between Tbilisi and Brooklyn.

PRODUCER

Nino is a Film Producer whose primary focus is documentary series and features. Based bi-coastally in both Los Angeles and New York, Nino is originally from Zugdidi, Georgia and moved to the States in 1991 at the age of four. She has produced projects for several studios and streaming networks, including Paramount Pictures, HBO, Netflix, Peacock, ESPN and Hulu. The first film she produced, THIS IS PERSONAL (Paramount), premiered at Sundance in 2019. She is passionate about contributing to stories that unveil social injustices in an effort to advance global social progress.

PRODUCER

David is a Writer, Producer, and Director based in Stockholm, Sweden. Until 2021, he worked as a Writer and Creative Director at CNN’s Courageous Studios in New York. His videos have appeared on CNN, HBO, PBS, and Great Big Story, among others, while his essays and reportage have been published by The New York Times Magazine, The New Republic, The Paris Review, Slate, and Commonweal. He is a recipient of an Edward R. Murrow Award, and he is currently developing a feature documentary with FunMeter (MCMILLION$, THE BIG CONN).

EDITOR AND STORY PRODUCER

Leland is an award-winning Editor, Cinematographer, and Director. THE FIX, a Documentary he worked on as Cinematographer and Editor, won Best Documentary at the Soho Film Festival in 2014. After many years as Lead Editor at CNN’s award-winning branded content studio, Courageous, he started his own post- production studio, which just finished its first project, BLACK GIRLS, focusing on activists of color, in which he was Supervising Editor. He is currently working on a feature documentary about the historic Brooklyn bar “Farrell’s.”

STORY PRODUCER

Tako has over a decade of expertise in media, communications production and project management. Tako currently coordinates the "European Union Prize in Journalism" competition (EU4Georgia) for the European Union in Georgia. She served as the story producer for a four- part documentary series titled "Europe and Me," commissioned by the European Union as well as for the feature documentary film "On the Way Home."
